What an exciting few weeks! I’m now the Experience Specialist at the Pier 5 Hotel – after learning the ropes of the role at another of our Harbor Magic Hotels, Brookshire Suites. Moving to the other side of the Inner Harbor is a whole new experience, especially when it comes to food!

The Pier 5 has two great restaurants right off it’s lobby – Ruth Chris Steakhouse and McCormick & Schmicks – and even more within easy walking distance. And there so many great specials! If you’re interested in dining at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, make sure and check out our Steak Out a Little Romance package. You’ll get a gift certificate toward dinner plus drinks at some cool spots in the city. My favorites are the Mojitos at Babalue Grill.

Our guests here really love the National Aquarium in Baltimore! We’re located right next to the dolphin pavilion and the main entrance is just a short walk. If you decide to go, make sure you get your tickets through me beforehand or book our exclusive Discover Down Under, Stay Downtown package. We have special tickets that give you VIP Immediate Entry into the building and access to all the exhibits including the dolphin show. The best part is you don’t have to wait in line to get in! And what a line it can be - I waited three hours during this past summer! Why didn’t I get tickets from myself?!!
Time to get back to calling all my guests to tell them about all the exciting places they can't miss. 'Til next time…
